Story

Supporting and Empowering All

3+Heart Coffee is a coffee company that is dedicated to raising awareness for Down syndrome and supporting families affected by the condition. The name "3+Heart" is a reference to the fact that approximately 50% of babies born with Down syndrome have a congenital heart defect, which often requires surgery or other medical interventions.

The "3+" in the name represents the extra copy of the 21st chromosome that characterizes Down syndrome, while the "Heart" refers to the heart defects that are common in individuals with the condition.

By supporting 3+Heart Coffee, you are not only enjoying delicious coffee, but you are also helping to raise awareness for Down syndrome and support families affected by the condition. The company donates a portion of its profits to organizations that support individuals with Down syndrome and their families, including those that provide medical care and support for heart defects.

Overall, 3+Heart Coffee is a great way to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee while also making a difference in the Down syndrome community.

Our
Reason

Anne is Our Reason

Anne had a difficult start to life. During her mother's pregnancy, Anne was diagnosed with hydrops, a serious condition where an abnormal accumulation of fluid in the fetus causes swelling and complications. Despite the odds, Anne was born with Down Syndrome and within 6 months of birth, underwent open heart surgery to correct a congenital heart defect.

Although the surgery was successful, Anne's health remained fragile, and she was hospitalized for three long and difficult months. Her parents were constantly worried about her health and spent countless hours by her bedside, praying and hoping for her recovery.

During this time, Anne's father, a passionate coffee lover and entrepreneur, found solace in his daily ritual of brewing and enjoying a delicious cup of coffee. He found that it helped him stay focused and energized during the long days and nights spent in the hospital with his daughter.

As Anne's condition began to improve, her father realized that he wanted to create something positive out of their difficult experience. He decided to start a coffee company that would not only offer high-quality coffee but also give back to the Down Syndrome community. He named the company after his daughter's conditions and began donating a portion of the profits to organizations that support individuals with Down Syndrome and their families.

As the company grew, so did Anne's health and happiness. She proved to be a strong and resilient little girl, and her smile and laughter brought joy to everyone who knew her. Her parents continued to be inspired by her strength and courage, and they dedicated themselves to helping other families facing similar challenges.

Today, Anne is a happy and healthy young girl who loves spending time with her family and playing with her friends. Her father's coffee company continues to thrive, and it has become a symbol of hope and inspiration for families affected by Down Syndrome. Anne's story has touched the hearts of many and serves as a reminder of the power of love, determination, and a great cup of coffee.
